Tracking Emotions and Mindsets

Many researchers have tested many students on their emotions, mindsets, personality traits, and cognitive processes. Many of these test were based on the students facial expressions, heart rate, posture, and many more traits. Many of the researches took these test and saw the interest and boredom that each student had. Emotions and personality traits have a powerful influence on how students learn. The article also states that there were many things that happened in a classroom and labs that you cannot gather from a webcam or online classes. Teachers can see more emotions, mindsets, and personality in person. Many teachers do not know who you are when they teach you on a webcam or a online class. Teachers do not know how nervous you are to take a test, how excited you are to turn in a paper, and how glad you are when class is over.

I agree with the article. The research that has been tested were correct in my eyes. When you are sitting in a class, your teachers can see the emotions, mindsets, and your personality. I have taken many online classes, and I did not even feel that I was in a classroom. I did not get to talk to my teacher and  I did not get to see the other students emotions and personalities. I most certainly did not get to meet people.  In classrooms and labs you are see the teachers emotions, personalities, and mindsets by the way they act. These traits can be so helpful.
